​Where is Moonstone Studio located?
We are located at 47 Cutlers Road, South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, CM3 5WA.

Parking: We have Three dedicated spaces directly outside the studio (first-come, first-served)

Additional free on-street parking is available

Evening classes (after 6 pm) – park anywhere outside the studio as neighbouring businesses are closed

Do you have a cancellation policy?
​
Yes! We fully understand that plans can change.

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance via Arketa or our website to retain your class pass
-
Late cancellations or no-shows result in loss of class pass or full payment for the session

Emails sent to the studio for cancellations may not be actioned in time, so please use the booking system for best results

What should I wear to class?
For Pilates (Reformer & Mat):

Comfortable, fitted clothing allowing full range of movement

Grip socks required on Reformer machines (Don't panic if you forget, we sell them in the studio)
For Yoga:

Comfortable clothing that allows stretching and flexibility

Bare feet or yoga socks with grip if preferred.

Do I need to bring anything?

Water. Staying hydrated helps you get the most from your session. Bottles can be refilled in the studio

Yoga mat is provided for studio classes, but you may bring your own if preferred

Optional towel or mat cover for Yoga/Mat Pilates.

I’m new. What class should I attend?
​

Pilates (Reformer): Start with our Phase one class to learn setup and core principles
-
Yoga: Start with Beginner or Gentle Flow Classes to learn alignment, breathwork, and basic postures

Do you offer private sessions?
​
Yes! Private and semi-private sessions for both Pilates and Yoga are available:

1-1 or 2-1 sessions
-
Personalized guidance for rehabilitation, confidence building, or specific goals

Suitable for all levels
​
Can I attend classes if I’m pregnant?
​

With appropriate medical approval, clients may attend classes up to 14 weeks pregnant. Consult your doctor before starting new exercises

After 14 weeks, participation is only permitted with a pre/post-natal certified instructor.

Are there age restrictions for classes?

Group reformer classes are open to ages 16 and over

Participants under 18 require parental consent.

What should I expect during class?

Instructors guide movements and adjust exercises for your level

Inform instructor before class if you prefer no physical adjustments

Listen to your body and communicate any discomfort

Ensure any injuries, conditions, or pregnancy are shared in your health form and with your instructor

What happens if I arrive late?

Arrivals more than 5 minutes late may not be able to join

Late arrivals may result in session forfeited

Do you offer workshops or events?
​
Yes! We host workshops for Pilates and Yoga to deepen practice, learn new techniques, and connect with our community.

What is Moonstones Studio’s mission?

Inspired by the grounding, strengthening, and transformative power of Yoga, Pilates, and mindful exercise, Moonstone was designed as a calm, retreat-like oasis that still challenges you to show up fully. Here, we breathe, move, sweat, and grow — balancing serene, restorative energy with powerful, purposeful work. Rooted in the symbolism of moonstone, our studio represents transformation, intuition, and new beginnings. More than a place to take a class, Moonstone Studio is a community where individuals feel supported, empowered, and connected as they evolve, rise, and rediscover their strength from the inside out.

Do you offer class passes or memberships?
Yes, for both Pilates and Yoga:

Single class passes – valid 4 weeks

Block passes – Comes in Blocks of 3, 5, 10 - valid for 6 months

Monthly memberships – rolling direct debit, Bronze, Silver, or Gold options
​
Passes are non-transferable and non-extendable.

Complete health form before your first session

Inform instructor of any health issues or physical limitations

Follow instructor guidance, including choice to decline physical adjustments
